Moscow
The
construction of the Moscow Wall Street began in 1998 on the site of the former
quarries, next to the World Trade Center and the Expocentre. And they
continue to build to this day. The complex is located on
Krasnopresnenskaya embankment, from where the Kremlin is only 4 kilometers
away. The towers are 17 to 95 stories high.
The most interesting places in the "Moscow City":
• Bridge "Bagration" with many shops,
exhibitions, a sculpture by Ernst Neizvestny "The Tree of Life" and a
model of the architectural project "Moscow City";
• tower "Evolution" in the form of a DNA helix;
• Tower Federation, which for three years held the title of
the highest in Europe (in 2017, this title passed to the St. Petersburg
"Lakhta Center");
• orange monolith "Mercury City Tower";
• twin towers "Moscow" and
"Petersburg", as if made of giant cubes and together constituting the
complex "City of Capitals";
• the central core - the heart of Moscow City with metro
stations.
In a word, there is where to take a walk!
How to get there
The
most convenient way to get to the business district is by metro. The
Vystavochnaya and Mezhdunarodnaya stations of the Filevskaya line, the Delovoy
Tsentr station of the Big Circle and the Moscow Central Ring are suitable. Prefer
a car? There will be no problems either - there are enough underground
parking lots in the complex.
If
you decide not just to walk around the City, but to stay here for a few days,
pay attention to the rooms in the 4-star Novotel Moscow City Hotel (Presnenskaya
nab., 2) in the Business Center. Stop by at any time of the day and go to
explore the giant "anthill" of glass and concrete.
The ideal place for a child in Moscow City is Masterslavl. A
real state with its own currency, banks, shops, firefighters and workshops. This
is where the kids go for a walk! In this small country, your son or
daughter will be able to choose an occupation to his liking: from school
disciplines with experiments and experiments to a full rehearsal of adult life. The
project has its own website where you can find out about discounts and upcoming
events.
If your child is interested in how train drivers work in the metro, a Career Guidance Center is open right at the Vystavochnaya station - with a driver's console and a large collection of exhibits. Go with him and you will not get bored.
Another option is to take the children to the skating
rink. Yes, Moscow City has everything, including an ice rink with a
magical view of the city. The skating rink is located in the Oko
tower. True, only children will be spacious on the ice: the skating rink
is small.
What to look at
The
main attraction of "Moscow City" is a beautiful view of the capital. It
is good from different angles, in almost any weather, day and night. At
the observation deck Panorama360, which opened in 2018 on the 89th floor of the
Federation Tower, you will definitely take your breath away. Still, the
highest observation deck in Russia and Europe, and even with an ice cream
factory, projection show, art space and a bunch of interactivity to boot! Life
hack: see what they write on the site, when buying online tickets can be
cheaper.
For fans of a more extreme view, there is another platform in the Oko tower - High Port 354, from where you can also admire the city. Its main advantage is that it is open (and, according to some visitors, even taller than Panorama360)! Agree, walking on the roof in the fresh air under a huge sky is priceless. There is also a minus: complaints about the organization (for example, it is forbidden to take bags with you there). If you don't want to pay only for the view, go to the "Cloud53" or "Cloud54" bars, where the clouds are released from hookahs in a large assortment.
Where to find out
